Durham Police investigate after man struck in hit and run

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Durham Police responded to a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Wednesday night.

It happened at Holloway Street at Spruce Street.

Eyewitnesses said someone hit a man in the road and drove away.

The victim was conscious when paramedics loaded him into an ambulance.

No information about the suspect vehicle was immediately available.
