RALEIGH (WTVD) -- NC Quick Pass and the Turnpike Authority have a warning for drivers.
Residents in several states, including North Carolina, are being advised to be on the lookout for a bogus email targeting Quick Pass customers.
Drivers have reported receiving fake emails which say they have to pay an outstanding toll balance.
The emails include a link directing customers to an invoice or payment portal.
NC Quick Pass never requests payment through email.
Please contact the NC Quick Pass Customer Service Center at 1-877-769-7277 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for questions or concerns.
