Asheboro Schools activity bus involved in Apex crash.

APEX, North Carolina (WTVD) -- An Asheboro Schools activity bus was involved in a crash with another vehicle Monday afternoon in Apex.

It happened on US 64 near Shepherd's Vineyard Way.

There were 30 people on the bus.

Apex Police said there were only minor injuries, not requiring medical attention.

Nine people complained of possible injury, but no one needed to be taken for medical treatment, police said.

The incident remains under investigation.
