Slippery roads partially to blame for 3 accidents
Police responded to three different crashes overnight.

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Wet roads are partially to blame for some overnight accidents in Fayetteville.

Police responded to three different crashes early Sunday morning.

The first one happened on Gillies Hill Road where the driver reportedly hydroplaned. The driver and another passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Slippery roads were also to blame for a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Cliffdale Road and Mcpherson Church Road. The vehicles were pretty banged up.

Police also responded to a car versus pole accident on Bragg Boulevard and Cain Road. Authorities say the driver hydroplaned before hitting the pole. That person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
