ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A truck driver is facing DWI charges after an accident that caused big backups on Interstate 85 in Orange County Sunday morning.

The State Highway Patrol says the driver ran off the right side of Northbound 85 then over-corrected.

He wound up jackknifing before coming to a stop in the southbound lanes near Hillsborough.

Troopers say he was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not serious.

Investigators told ABC11 the DWI charge is drug related, not alcohol.
