ROLESVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- There's been a course reversal over the fight for a traffic signal in Rolesville sparked by a report from the ABC11 I-Team.

The DOT revealed Friday that it will install a traffic light at an intersection on the new Rolesville Bypass after all.

Rolesville Mayor Frank Eagles was upset with a decision to put a stop sign at what's expected to be a very busy intersection when the road opens next Friday.

The DOT said it took immediate action when Eagles brought it to their attention and the light should be installed within the next few months.
