Van crashes into home in west Clayton

CLAYTON (WTVD) -- A van smashed into a Johnston County home late Monday night.

It happened off Highway 42 in west Clayton.

An ABC11 crew on the scene said a man and his two children were taken to WakeMed to be checked out.

An ABC11 Eyewitness said the van was speeding, and the driver appeared to lose control and slammed into the house.

No one inside the home was hurt.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
