Photographer Jonathan Huensch captured the event while traveling through Alaska's Prince William Sound, which is surrounded by steep glaciers. After the massive chunks of ice fall into the water, a quickly growing wave ripples toward the boat before the camera cuts off.

"All my friends are asking....why did I put the camera down!," Huensch told Jukin Media. "Well based on what I saw, I was worried that the wave was going to get us quite wet...and having a whole trip's worth of pictures, I wanted to save the camera...so it went under my jacket for the first wave. After that, it was no big deal."
