HOME WASHED AWAY
A fierce storm lashing Australia's southeast destroyed has homes and left dozens stranded in swirling floodwaters.
Video shows a house being washed away by the powerful floodwaters. People were trapped in cars and homes and stuck on rooftops amid flash flooding.
The storm has been pounding Sydney and other parts of New South Wales since yesterday and has dumped more than a foot of rain in some areas.
MAN PULLED FROM BURNING CAR
In Mesquite, Texas, police officers pulled a man from his burning car.
It was caught on police dash-cam video. The man was unconscious and his clothes were on fire. He's now being treated for burns and internal injuries. No one else was in the car. The cause is still under investigation.
MARATHON PROPOSAL
The 2015 Boston marathon wrapped up Monday and one runner got more than a medal at the finish line.
Runner Amy Sennett got a diamond too. Her boyfriend proposed just after the two completed the race.
Boyfriend Daniel Arrig Koh is chief of staff for Boston's mayor. The mayor held the ring while the couple ran.
And, in case you're wondering, she said yes.
CORPSE FLOWER
A flower that usually only blooms once every 10 years is blooming at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
The only problem with this plant - called a Corpse Flower - is it smells like rotting flesh!
Despite the stench, hundreds of people rushed to see this unique spectacle.
It smells so bad because it's naturally pollinated by flies and beetles that are attracted to the smell.
