Mild Today

Some clouds around this morning, we can expect more sunshine throughout the day with a bubble of high pressure building across the Southeast. It will be quite mild with highs in the low 60. Tonight stays mild with lower to middle 40s depending on how many clouds move in
overnight. Again, tomorrow is going to be nice and warm as an area of low pressure develops across Texas. This will send some high clouds across the Southeast. Rain will arrive late tomorrow night and last through much of Wednesday. Temperatures will be cooler as well; running around average.

High Pressure will dry us out Thursday and will push some cool air across the Piedmont. Looks like a cold air damming setup for Thursday into Friday, so we go for a cloudier solution and also be careful of temperatures. Both Thursday and Friday could end
up stuck in the 40s with some drizzle.

The next storm will march across the center of the country the end of the week and will bring a cold front into the East Saturday. The tricky part is that the upper level trough weakens this far east Saturday as another deeper, stronger trough digs into the West. The GFS and Euro both have this idea for the holiday weekend, but with different placement. We are likely looking at a warmer than normal and wet pattern heading into Christmas.

Have a great Monday!
