Snowboarder rescued after dangling upside down from ski lift
The incident occurred at Mount Ashland Ski Area in Oregon.

A snowboarder was rescued after dangling from a ski lift in Mount Ashland, Oregon.

According to KAJO, "the snowboarder told mountain staff he was trying to take the weight off his snowboard and clipped his safety leash onto the chairlift he was riding with two other guests." The snowboarder forgot to remove the leash, which led to him hanging upside down from the lift.

The lift operator stopped the ski lift and a nearby ski patroller was able to rescue the snowboarder, KAJO reported. The snowboarder was not hurt in the incident.
