Wind blows away beach umbrellas

MAUNA KEA BEACH, Hawaii (WTVD) -- Video shows a wild scene on a beach in Hawaii. Visitors were relaxing on Mauna Kea Beach when a sudden wind whipped up and sent umbrellas spinning high in the air.

Some got up to 30 to 40 feet above the ground.

You see some beachgoers scrambling for shelter as the umbrellas with their sharp pointed handles continued to circle overhead.

Some landed close to people, but no one was hurt.
