Cam Newton surprises boy with cancer at Halloween party

CONCORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cam Newton made an unexpected visit to a Halloween party for a boy with cancer.

10-year old Elijah Aschbrenner has a rare form of cancer and the Concord, N.C. community rallied to help him on his favorite holiday.

Newton, the quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, showed up with an ice cream truck and brownies to surprise Elijah who was dressed as the Joker from Batman.
