2 men killed in separate Fayetteville morning shootings
An 18-year-old and a 22-year-old were killed in two separate shootings in Fayetteville. Police said their deaths are unrelated.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are investigating two fatal shootings that happened less than an hour apart from each other early Sunday morning.

Around 7 a.m., officers were called to the 3500 block of Doc Bennett Road and found Isaac Locklear, 18, of Red Springs, who had been shot multiple times.

Locklear was pronounced dead at the scene.

Less than an hour before, Jabori Surles, 22, of Fayetteville, was found shot and killed outside a residence on School Street.

Fayetteville homicide detectives do not believe the shootings are related.

Police said a man was shot multiple times outside a residence on School Street just after 6 a.m.
