Bank robbery suspect arrested at Fayetteville motel

Fayetteville police have arrested a man they say robbed a bank on Ramsey Street on Friday.

The robbery happened around 1 p.m. at the First Citizens Bank. Police released surveillance images of the alleged robber shortly after the incident/

A Crimestoppers tip led police to 57-year-old Manfred Elzie Miller. On Saturday, detectives tracked down Miller's car and arrested him at the Carolina Motor Inn on Gillespie Street.

Miller has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property. Miller has been processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center where he remains under a $100,000 secured bond.
