Crews respond to fire at former Novartis facility in Holly Springs

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Multiple crews responded to a fire at Seqirus in Holly Springs on Thursday afternoon.

The vaccine business on Green Oaks Parkway is a former Novartis facility.

Officials said this was a two-alarm fire. Our crew on the scene was told the fire has been extinguished.

Tori Marks, Seqirus Communications Director, said the fire broke out around 3:15 p.m. in a manufacturing site.

The fire was contained. Marks said all staff are safe and accounted for, and no one was injured.

Fire officials did not say what caused the blaze.
