Durham Police: Man's body found inside tent

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A death investigation is underway in Durham after a man's body was found inside a tent early Tuesday morning.

The man was found around 4 a.m. in the 3400 block of Southwest Durham Drive, near a Kroger shopping center off 15-501.

According to investigators, the death did not appear to be suspicious, but they are waiting for an autopsy report to determine the cause of death. The victim appeared to have been homeless.
