2 injured after drive-by shooting on North Duke Street

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people are in the hospital after a shooting in Durham on Wednesday night.

Police said the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of North Duke Street.

Officers said the victims were sitting in the car when a dark sedan drove alongside them and shot into the passenger side of the vehicle.

The passenger is in critical condition and the drive is stable.

Police have not released the victim's identities.
