RALEIGH (WTVD) -- From stay at home mom to edible cookie dough entrepreneur. Samantha Schpero has turned her passion for baking into a full-time business called Do'Licious.

"I played around with different recipes and used different products to make it safe to eat," Samantha said. "It's creamy, yummy and tastes just like cookie dough without the egg."

With three kids, she had plenty of taste testers to perfect her egg free cookie dough.

"I always baked with my daughters and we love cookie dough so I said let's make it safe to eat. My friends were like you should sell it, it's so good," she added.

After 8 years of being a stay at home mom, Samantha decided to go for it and just opened Do'Licious at Crabtree Valley Mall.

The cookie dough sells for $3.99 a scoop, and you can add toppings to the cookie dough like sprinkles and M&M's.

In the first two days of opening, Samantha says they gave out more than 1,000 samples.

Lindsey O'Neil made the trip from Wilson to Crabtree Valley Mall just for the cookie dough.

"It was amazing, everything I thought it would be and so much more, plus it's safe to eat this cookie dough," she said after trying.
