NORTH CAROLINA (WTVD) -- Do you enjoy fishing? Do you want to help veterans while you fish? Then Operation North State wants you to sign up for their second annual "Angler's Casting Hope Challenge."

The week-long event will help raise funds for recreational therapy for North Carolina's wounded warriors and disabled veterans.

And it's very easy to participate. All you have to do is find a veteran and take them fishing sometime between September 29 and October 6.

While you're enjoying your day on the water, take a picture and send it to Operation North State along with a minimum $20 donation. That's it!

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the challenge will go to take wounded and disabled veterans on future fishing trips.

If you'd like more information about Operation North State or the Angler's Challenge you can call them at (336) 764-5967 or by email.
