18-year-old charged with hitting cyclist in Carrboro

CARRBORO, North Carolina -- The Carrboro Police Department has charged a man with felony hit-and-run in a crash Monday involving a cyclist.

It happened just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of North Greensboro St. and Robert Hunt Drive.

The cyclist was taken to UNC Hospital and treated and released.

Jacob Hart was arrested in the case and taken to the Orange County Jail with an unsecured bond of $1,000.
