"There was an altercation on a grand scale," said Jane, a neighbor.
She lives just feet from where it all played out.
She said that a group of young adults started to gather at around 11:30 p.m. At first there was loud music, loud talking, and then came the gunshots.
"Girls were screaming, men were screaming 'don't do it, don't do it' and then there was a shot," said the neighbor.
