2 men shot in Fayetteville; police investigating

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police are investigating after two people were shot in Fayetteville Monday evening.

According to police, the incident happened before 5:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Edwards Street.

According to ABC11 crews on scene, both of the victims were men.

They were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Fayetteville Police Department's Aggravated Assault Unit is currently investigating the shooting.
