Powerful storm leaves behind damage in Johnston county
Strong storms blew through the Triangle Wednesday evening, leaving behind some damage.

JOHNSTON COUNTY (WTVD) -- Strong storms blew through the Triangle Wednesday evening, leaving behind some damage.

Trees were blown down in multiple parts of Johnston County.

Debris covered the roads in a Smithfield development near the Country Club of Johnston County.

So far police have not reported any injuries.

Strong winds knocked out power to many residents; however, most of the power was restored by early Thursday morning.

All power is expected to be restored by 10 a.m.
