FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Dogwood Drive-Thru Fair Food event held this weekend was a huge success, organizers said. More than 1,200 orders were placed Saturday.
Already Sunday, more than 1,000 orders have been placed. People were waiting 40 minutes in line to get a taste of the fair food. One woman told ABC11 it was totally worth it.
Organizers said they plan to hold another drive-thru fair-food event in October.
