On May 5, the 13-year-old girl came home and the man followed her through the front door.

"That's when I decided to run inside the house because I'd already unlocked it. And I tried to slam the door on him but I couldn't, so he gets inside," said the victim.

The video shows the man grab the girl who fought him off.

"I was just trying to get him off of me, so I pushed him back and at one point, I slammed my flat palm into his face," she said. "And I think that's what scared him off. Because right after I slammed my hand to his face, that's when he got off of me," said the girl.

The teen then backed away in case he attacked her again.

"He walked a few steps towards me and I thought he was going to grab me again. But he just turns around, looks out the door, and just walks away," said the girl.

The young girl then ran into her parent's closet, locked the door, and began texting her parents. She told her father: "DADDY COME HOME NOW. SOME GUY TRIED TO RAPE ME." Her dad called 911.

Police have not been able to identify the suspect yet. They hope with the help of social media they will be able to find a suspect in the next couple of days.
