Small group protests flag removal
A small group protested the removal of the Confederate flag in S.C. outside the old State Capitol on Saturday

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Just one day after South Carolina brought down the Confederate flag flying in Columbia, a small group protested the decision in front of the old State Capitol in Raleigh.

The demonstrators argued in favor of the flag, saying it represents Southern culture. They believe the flag is being misrepresented.

Calls to take down Confederate flags surged after the killing of nine black church members in Charleston in June.
