Christmas in July Toy Run
About 400 bikers rode from Fayetteville to Durham for the Christmas in July Toy Run

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Hundreds of bikers took part in a very long ride from Fayetteville to Durham on Saturday morning for their 13th annual Christmas in July Toy Run.

The 400 motorcycles, plus dozens of colorful Corvettes, began their journey at 10 a.m. on Bragg Boulevard. They rolled from Cumberland County through Apex and Cary, and finally along the Durham Freeway.

Each rider paid an entry fee and got a $5 discount if the rider brought along a toy for kids at the Duke Children's Hospital.

Once they arrived there, they parked, donated the toys they brought, and enjoyed a lunch prepared by Texas Roadhouse.
