Lumberton police need public's help to ID two suspects

LUMBERTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Lumberton police are asking for the public's help to identify two suspects in a jewelry store robbery.

Police say on July 24 two men entered McNeill's Jewelry Store inside Briggs Park Mall and while one of them distracted an employee the other grabbed a tray of rings.

He placed the rings in a shopping bag and left. The first suspect had a few words with the employee before leaving as well, according to police.

The first suspect is a black male about six foot two inches and 200 pounds with burn scars on his lower arms.

The second suspect is about five foot eight to five foot ten and around 160 - 180 pounds.
