FAN AMBUSH
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine smoothly handled a potentially scary encounter with a fan during a performance in Anaheim, California Monday.
An apparently over-excited woman jumped onto the stage and got a little too close for comfort.
Levine at first backed away, as he looked very concerned, but he ended up handling the fan like a pro - even embracing the girl to try to calm her down before a bodyguard escorted her off stage.
POLICE SAVE SUICIDAL WOMAN
A dramatic rescue in New York City was caught on video as police officers pulled a suicidal woman up from the side of a bridge.
Detectives spent nearly two hours talking to the woman who was apparently distraught over her impeding divorce.
She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
PUPPY RESCUE
A different kind of rescue was caught on video in Fresno, California as firefighters rescued a puppy that had fallen down a well shaft.
Firefighters got a makeshift harness around the animal and lifted it to safety.
