Police blocked off South Salisbury Street between Martin and Hargett Streets, closing the area while they investigate.
"I think it's very surprising to see the road blocked off like this, especially during this time of day," Jacob Miles said. "It's concerning to me, especially somebody that likes to be in downtown, walk around. But I just hope, whoever it is, that they're going to be OK."
