Greensboro man arrested after 5-year-old brother killed

GREENSBORO, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A 22-year-old suspect accused of shooting and killing his 5-year-old brother in Greensboro is now in jail.

Greensboro police said Murad Anthony Weaver turned himself in on Tuesday.

Authorities said Caleb Pearson, 5, was shot and killed Friday night after an argument.

Weaver's family was there when he surrendered. His mom said she believes Weaver did not mean to shoot his brother.

Weaver is expected in court Wednesday.
