They believe he's suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Officials say Wright left the Heritage Retirement Center in Rocky Mount on Saturday in a cab. He then purchased a ticket to Wilmington from the Rocky Mount bus station.
Detectives say he's about six feet tall and 120 pounds. He has short, gray hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket with fur on the collar.
