Silver Alert canceled for Halifax man

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man.

Alvin Dwayne Davis, 24, was found around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

He reportedly walked away from Lucky Drive in Halifax on Friday at 6:30 p.m. He was seen walking toward the direction of U.S. Hwy. 301.

At the time of his disappearance, Davis was wearing a white shirt, white shorts and white Adidas shoes.

Davis also goes by the nickname "Apples" and has a tattoo of "Apples" on his right arm.

The alert was originally sent out, because it is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
