Carolina coach supports Kansas Jayhawks

SAN ANTONIO

Cameras showed the former /*Jayhawks*/ coach proudly cheering on Kansas as they took on the Memphis Tigers.

Sports talk radio shows in the /*Triangle*/ cannot stop talking about it. According to Sports Radio 850-The Buzz and 620-The Bull, the phones rang off the hook all morning and afternoon.

One host told Eyewitness News the calls were relatively spilt, some furious over the Jayhawks' sticker and others more understanding.

"Some people were like, 'they just killed /*Carolina*/, how can you possibly put that sticker on, but it's extenuating circumstances, and I really don't think that Roy Williams is going to work any less hard for North Carolina next season. And the next time he plays Kansas, his goal will be to beat Kansas," Radio Show Host, Chris Clark said.
