Once inside deputies seized several kilos of drugs.
Suspect shot after drug raid
CHATHAM COUNTY Late Sunday night the Chatham County Sheriff's Drug Unit was trying to search a home on Irene Court.
Deputies saw a man inside armed with a handgun. Shot were fired, and the man inside was hit. He was taken by helicopter to UNC Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
