The Raleigh Police Department has arrested Devin Terralle Carmen,17, and charged him with one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury in connection with the March 31 assault that occurred on a trail at Lake Lynn Park.
A victim reported she was jogging on a trail at the park when a man struck her from behind. She says she screamed and the suspect fled.
Days after the incident police released a composite sketch of the suspect.
In addition, Carmen is charged with one count of assault on a female in connection with an incident in which a woman was grabbed while outside an apartment complex on March 23.
The suspect will be transported to the Wake County Jail.
