At approximately 9 p.m., the suspect entered the Subway on Six Forks Road (in the shopping center at the intersection of Six Forks and Millbrook roads).
The suspect lingered in the restaurant until a customer left and then produced a handgun and committed the robbery. He was last seen fleeing on foot.
The customer who was in the store just before the robbery is described as a white female with long blonde hair.
She was driving a newer model silver car and it was thought that she might be in her thirties.
Detectives want to interview the customer who left just before the robbery and are asking her to come forward by calling (919) 890-3555.
On Jan. 23 and April 5, an armed suspect entered and robbed the stores.
In both cases, the suspect was described as an African America man in his twenties, who was armed with a handgun and was wearing a green jacket and sunglasses.
Both robberies happened around 8:45 p.m. Durant Road and Capital Boulevard.
