Raleigh man charged with double shooting

RALEIGH, NC Flippen was already in custody on unrelated charges. Flippen is charged with the murder of 21-year-old Ryan Bryant on June 11. Bryant was found shot dead in the intersection of Blount and Lee Streets.

Flippen is also charged with shooting 17-year-old Jermaine Tyson. He survived the shooting.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information that might assist the investigation of the case is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department's Detective Division at (919) 890-3555 or CrimeStoppers at (919) 26-CRIME.
