Clayton man arrested child sex offense
CLAYTON, NC Clayton police had been looking for Roger Benton since February. Monday, investigators in Clayton were notified that Benton, 50, has been located and taken into custody by the Concord Police Department. He remains in the Cabarrus County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond pending his return to Johnston County to face charges of first degree sexual offense.
