Investigators believe someone set a fire in the area in an attempt to cover up a crime.
Neither the Onslow County Sheriff's Officer or military authorities have confirmed whether this is connected to the disappearance of Fort Bragg soldier /*Holley Wimunc*/. Wimunc's estranged husband, Camp Lejeune Marine Corporal /*John Wimunc*/ has been questioned by police and released back to his unit.
Holley Wimunc, is a 2nd lieutenant assigned to Fort Bragg's Charlie Company. She works as an nurse on the maternity ward at Womack Army Medical Center. She was reported missing Thursday morning. Police found her apartment home burned out.
