Firefighters are watching for flare ups after a massive fire burned an old mill made famous by former presidential candidate John Edwards.

Almost 200 emergency officials responded to the fire at the Milliken Mill in Robbins. Dozens of people were evacuated.

John Edwards once worked at the mill and used it as a backdrop to announce his first presidential run. Many locals say it's like watching a piece of history go up in flames.

Officials are investigating the cause.
