Three charged in theft ring

CUMBERLAND COUNTY Investigators say the suspects stole more than $100,000 in electronics from their employer and resold the items on EBay.

The items that were recovered included; various electronics, computers, flat screen televisions, Microsoft zooms, XBoxes, horse products, compressors and a riding lawn mower.

The items were being stored at a home belonging to one of the suspects on Roebud Road in Stedman.

The suspects include 42-year-old Carl Vincent Nichols of Winnabow, 57-year-old Danny Edward Parker of Bladenboro and 41-year-old Cora Lynn Kelley of Stedman are charged with felony larceny by employee, felony possession of stolen goods and felony conspiracy.

All three suspects were taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center and were later released on a 20 thousand dollar unsecured bond.
