Public Information Officer Jim Sughrue says around 2:20 a.m. a vehicle struck and broke a large pole for an overhead road sign, leaving it unsupported on one side of the road.
The driver, Paul Daniel Ashworth was taken into custody and was charged with DWI and driving while license revoked. A passenger was transported with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
