2nd set of Cooper search warrants released

CARY The 2nd set of search warrants issued for the search of Brad Coopers home have been released to the public and can be read here or by clicking on the related links doc attached this page.

The following was reported by Ed Crump Thursday -

Investigators returned to the Cooper home in the Lochmere subdivision with a new warrant, looking for more evidence.

Investigators served the first search warrant for the Cooper house just days after /*Nancy Cooper*/'s strangled body was found. They had already searched the house with her husband's permission when she went missing but that was without a warrant.

Sources tell /*Eyewitness News*/ Cary Police returned with a second search warrant Wednesday and remained at the home into the night.

It is not known what they found, if anything.

Nancy Cooper was reported missing by a friend in mid-July. /*Brad Cooper*/ told authorities he last saw her that Saturday morning when she went jogging.

Police apparently never believed that story and arrested him earlier this week.

The Cooper children are in the temporary custody of Nancy Cooper's parents and twin sister, who live in Canada.
