According to authorities, Chesney Anne Gaskin and her mother, 24-year-old Danielle Star Simpson were located in Aiken, S.C.
An Amber Alert was issued around 5 a.m. Friday by Sampson County, N.C. authorities.
Simpson reportedly abducted the toddler from the child's grandparents who have full custody.
