DURHAM --
About 600 students started back to class Monday in a brand new school.Spring Valley Elementary was built to relieve overcrowding at Oak Grove. It was paid for out of bond money approved by voters in 2003. It's located on the Northern Durham Parkway.
Students started the 2008-2009 school year at Oak Grove and then moved over after the winter break.
