Henderson Police Department Chief K.L. Sidwell says when officers arrived; they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim, 28-year-old Montrell Alston was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other victim, 56-year-old Robert Smith was transported to Maria Parham Medical Center where he is being treated and is in stable condition.
The incident is currently under investigation.
