Someone discovered 22-year-old Dennis Hayle's body Sunday in a corridor at his apartment.
Hayle, a Hempstead, NY native, was expected to graduate this year. Greensboro Police say his death is the third homicide in three days.
Neighbors told police they did not hear anything unusual before the shooting and say gunshots are a common occurrence in the neighborhood.
Last weekend, a man was shot in the leg at the apartments last weekend.
