The IRS is helping some taxpayers in the Carolinas for free.IRS agents will hold special hours to help residents earning less than $42,000 a year file their taxes.Offices in Durham, Fayetteville and Greensboro are among those that will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Feb. 21.
Free tax advice is also available during normal weekday business hours.
